Colorado to Host Maintenance Academy

The Colorado Fire Mechanics Association will host the Emergency Vehicle Maintenance Academy in Greeley, Colo., on July 28–Aug. 1. Classes include instruction in the proper maintenance techniques and procedures for pumps, electrical systems, foam systems, extrication tools, breathing-air compressors and small engines. There also will be hands-on instruction in various welding techniques. In addition to the component and system maintenance classes, the academy will offer a series of shop management classes on various subjects.
