Did You Know? Radios Can Cause Engine Problems

Did you know that high levels of electromagnetic energy from certain radios can cause electronic engine controls to malfunction? The results vary according to the energy levels and engines, but some manufacturers warn users to be aware of the problem. Electromagnetic interference can be caused by many sources. On vehicles, typical sources include two-way radios and other communication equipment that emits electromagnetic energy in the form of radio waves.
