Apparatus Driver Killed When Engine Rolls

A fire captain in Colorado was killed when the engine he was driving left the road and rolled over. The captain was responding to a medical call when the left front wheel went off the edge of a narrow road. He then overcorrected the steering, which caused the engine to go off the right side of the road and roll. The victim was ejected and died at the scene. He was the only occupant of the apparatus.
