Ferrara Gets Contract from Columbus

Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. has been awarded orders for the first apparatus in a three-year custom-pumper contract by the Columbus (Ohio) Division of Fire. These will be the first Ferrara fire trucks for Columbus. Beyond the initial three years of the agreement, Columbus holds renewal options for a fourth and fifth year. The pumpers will be built on custom tilt-cab chassis with independent front suspension and 525-hp Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines.
