Florida EVT Academy Scores Another Success

The National Emergency Vehicle Technician Training Academy in Daytona Beach, Fla., in May attracted more than 150 students for a week of classes and activities. The academy provides instruction on a wide variety of subjects, as well as hands-on opportunities to practice maintenance skills. This year, students removed a pump from a vehicle, rebuilt it according to the manufacturer’s specs, then re-installed and tested it to verify performance.
