HME Ahrens Fox Gets $28 Million Order

The state of California placed an order with HME Ahrens Fox for 110 apparatus worth $28 million. The order includes ICS Type I structure pumpers and Type III 4x4 wildland pumpers for several government departments. HME Ahrens Fox will build 21 HME custom pumpers with 1,250gpm main pumps, diesel-engine auxiliary pumps and 800-gallon water tanks for the California Office of Emergency Services. The California Department of Corrections will get another 17 similar units.
