Kussmaul Unveils Automatic Battery Charger

Kussmaul Electronics has introduced its Auto Charge SD automatic battery charger with several new features. The Auto Charge SD is a high-output battery charger with an automatic boost feature, self diagnostics and remote electronic voltage sensing. It is designed to rapidly recharge multiple batteries found in modern emergency vehicles. In operation, the charger raises the output voltage for one hour to reduce the time required to charge the batteries and to rejuvenate the internal battery plates.
