Pierce Expands PUC Line

Pierce displayed several new configurations for its PUC pumper body at FDIC in April. The expanded PUC line now includes a side, top-mounted pump panel with access steps to give the operator better visibility and a safer working position. According to Pierce, the top-mount pump panel still allows wheelbases that are 36 to 48 inches shorter than others. The PUC body configuration also may be specified with a 75-foot aluminum aerial ladder that may be specified with wheelbases up to 5 inches shorter than others.
