Do’s and Don’ts for Quick-Attack Pumpers

Well-designed quick-attack pumpers can perform lots of jobs. Driving them off road to fight brush fires isn’t one of them. Here are some suggestions on where they should — and should not — be used. Small pumpers have been around for decades. The mini-pumper concept was popular in the 1970s, and some departments still use that term.
