Wolverine Buys Elite Fire Apparatus Assets

Wolverine Fire Apparatus of Union City, Mich., purchased the assets of Elite Fire Apparatus of Tilleda, Wis., and announced that it will build Wolverine fire and rescue vehicles in the former Elite plant. Wolverine completed the purchase on Feb. 4 and hired Bill Hurley as the operations and sales manager for the Wisconsin plant. Several former Elite employees have been re-hired to continue operations there.
