Proposed Rules for PSOB

In July, the Department of Justice posted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the Public Safety Officers Benefit Program that would mean a number of changes, some of which might make it easier for claimant to establish claims. Some changes, however, could limit the number of individuals eligible to receive benefits under the PSOB or impose additional procedural requirements on claimants.
