Grant Funds NFFF Firefighter Life Safety Resource Kit Program

A $329,000 grant from Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. is making it possible for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to provide its Firefighter Life Safety Resource Kits to more than 30,000 U.S. fire departments. The kits anchor the NFFF “Everyone Goes Home” campaign and are designed to help reduce firefighter line-of-duty deaths. “Reducing firefighter deaths and injuries requires a daily commitment,” said NFFF Board Chairman Hal Bruno. “These educational kits are an important resource to enable fire departments to implement our 16 Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives.” The kits include a CD and two DVDs that provide resources fire departments ...
