Risky Business

The purpose of training in the fire service is to ensure preparedness for the difficult — and often dangerous — situations that arise on the job. Sufficient training and preparation can mean quicker and more effective responses to emergencies. When examined from a legal standpoint, more effective responses mean less exposure to liability for the fire department.
