Three Fire Chiefs Named

Montgomery County, Md., named Richard Bowers as interim fire chief and Herbert C. Redden was appointed the director and chief of the Dayton (Ohio) Fire Department. And in Ontario, Canada's South Bruce Peninsula, Dan Robinson will take over as fire chief on Nov. 10. Bowers is being promoted from division chief of operations to interim chief effective Nov. 1, to replace Tom Carr. Carr was Montgomery County's first fire chief and recently retired to take the fire chief's job in Charleston, S.C.
