Fire Marshals Honor NFPA's Greene

Olin Greene, the recently retired southern regional manager of the National Fire Protection Association, was recognized with a lifetime achievement award from the National Association of State Fire Marshals. The newly created NASFM Olin Greene Fire Prevention Award was presented to Greene at the 2008 NASFM annual conference. Greene has been involved in the fire service for more than 40 years. Prior to joining NFPA in 1993, he was the U.S. Fire Administrator.
