New Fire Chief for West Covina, Calif.

The city of West Covina, Calif., named Paul Segalla as fire chief; he will replace Richard Elliott, who is retiring. Segalla was born and raised in Chicago. His most recent position was associate fire education specialist, where he oversaw the training of all new fire officers for Illinois. He also served as fire chief for the Lockport Township (Ill.) Fire District; deputy chief of Downers Grove (Ill.) Fire Department; lieutenant of the Aurora (Ill.) Fire Department; and captain on the Downers Grove (Ill.) Fire Department.
