Heart Attacks Claim Two Vol. Fire Chiefs

Last month Orcutt (Calif.) Fire Protection District Fire Chief Ronny A. Bennett and Jon Bingham, assistant fire chief for Geary (Okla.) Fire Department died of an apparent heart attacks. Bennett died at his home while preparing to respond to a call. He had 23 years of service. Bingham responded to an apartment fire with a fatality and stayed on scene 18 hours until recovery of the deceased was completed. He died at home several hours later. He was 48 and had 19 years of service. ...
