Emergency Communication Actions Please APCO

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International said it was pleased by two federal efforts to improve communication. In late July, the Federal Communications Commission adopted rules that will open the door for the deployment of a nationwide interoperable broadband communications network that will be designed, built, and maintained to meet public safety requirements through the use of a public-private partnership model.
