FIRE Grant Applications Due

Applications for the FY 2008 Assistance to Firefighter Grants are due by 5 p.m. EDT on April 4. Interested applicants can access the application through the AFG Web site, the U.S. Fire Administration’s Web site and at Grants.gov. Under the AFG program, approximately $500 million will be available for grants to career, combination and volunteer fire departments for equipment, training, communications, apparatus and other critical needs.
