New Fire Stations in Miss., Va.

The Laurel Leader Call reported that the M and M Volunteer Fire Department (Miss.) will open its new fire station this week. It's old station was damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The station was built with money from the insurance settlement and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Preliminary designs for a new shared fire station in Great Falls, Va. were revealed earlier this month, the Connection Newspaper reported.
