W.V. Firefighters Review Rescue Skills

Marion County Fire Chief's Association held second annual fire rescue school for more than 100 firefighters in West Virginia. According to Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News, attendees were instructed in nine emergency courses and tested on their skills during the two-day school. Classes covered confined space rescue, swift water management, rapid-intervention rescue, hazardous materials, vehicle and machinery technician, farm machinery rescue, emergency vehicle driving, advanced structural firefighting and truck company operations.
