Two Conn. Fire Officials Appointed.

Ridgefield Fire Chief Heather Burford was named by the governor to serve on the state's Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board. And in Clinton, Anastasios Clados was named emergency management director. “Chief Burford is an effective administrator with a strong background in community involvement,” Connecticuit Gov. Jodi Rell told the Ridgefield Press. “Her expertise, energy and enthusiasm will benefit this important panel, and I thank her for her willingness to serve and protect state residents.” Burford has been chief and director of emergency services since 2006.
