Ridge Leaves 'Good Foundation' at DHS

Hearing the news of Tom Ridge's resignation Tuesday, some leading fire officials offered gratitude and a thumbs up for the first secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. Chief John Buckman of German Township (Ind.)
