Ice Rescue Prep

On a brisk December morning, a woman and her dog walk along a city bike trail next to an ice-covered pond. Her unleashed dog wanders out on the pond and suddenly a small cracking sound becomes a deep splash. The woman is horrified to see her dog scrambling as his hind quarters sink into the frigid water.
