San Francisco Upgrades Fitness Facilities Countywide

The San Francisco Fire Department recently upgraded the fitness facilities its fire stations in an effort to meet the revised International Association of Fire Fighters fitness protocol. The $500,000 project was funded through a FEMA grant.   The IAFF’s revised protocol recommended new standards for all in-house fitness facilities to ensure they are more up-to-date and maintained.
